Ladies do you wear dresses in Florida?

I am not a dress/skirt person in fact I can remember the the last time I wore either. We are off to Florida next month and I have just bought this from M&S and need persuaded to keep it.

I usually spend all my time in Florida in shorts but thought it might be nice to get a dress for a change.

Do any of you ladies wear dresses? I am not doing the parks so no worries with the rides etc.

Also what would you wear on top if it is cooler? A cardigan and if so what style? I am a size 16/18 not not slim🤦🏻

This is the dress.

I’ve worn more dresses this trip than I have done in years chub rub shorts have been a game changer and I’ve been so cool
I always have a very light cardigan in the car as AC kills me in restaurants

I'm not normally a dress person either, but it's all I've bought for our trip next month. As it's going to be so hot, I decided that I didn't want anything tight or any sweaty waistbands from skirts/shorts, so I've got lots of floaty dresses which will hopefully help me stay cooler in the heat.

second the chub rub shorts.

I like a casual A line dress, the big thing for me was the material isn't too thick and has a flattering cut for my chest which is always personal preference etc.

Be aware that it's difficult to maintain dignity on e.g. space mountain but the chub rub shorts probably make me confident enough to just do it anyway. No cardigan here, I took some last time I went (in a september) and never took it out the case because it just doesn't cool off at all.

Only thing is don't wear it on the plane unless you want to freeze!

Go for it. I wear dresses pretty much all year round and in Florida with cycling shorts underneath. If it’s cold I’ll wear a cardigan or sometimes I’ll layer a long sleeve top underneath. It doesn’t matter what your size is - wear what makes you happy. The dress is cute 😊

Yes I sometimes I wear dresses in the evening if we return back to the hotel . I don’t usually have the need to wear anything as I find it warm . I like the opportunity to get a bit dressed up ..

Never take any dresses away to Orlando or anywhere else where it’s going to be hot and I’m just sightseeing
It’s just shorts & tops for me
I love it because I don’t want to be bothered to dress up on holiday as I get too hot & sweaty 🥵🥵🥵

Yes definitely need a cardigan in restaurants.
