Best American Breakfast near Windsor Hills
We are presently staying in Windsor Hills and my niece wants to go for an American style breakfast ie waffles and pancakes
Any recommendations? |

Perkins, Bob Evans and IHOP on the 192 are all within around 2 miles of you. They all certainly do pancakes but you might need to check their menus for waffles.
There's also a Waffle House on 192 about 3 miles further east. Mick

They are all pretty much the same really and in the same price range. Never had a waffle in the USA but almost all of them will serve pancakes as a side to most breakfasts anyway.
They will all do egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown breakfasts. They will do lunch and dinner as well. IHOP is actually International House of Pancakes. Mick

Here's another thought.
Golden Corral is a restaurant that has polarised opinion more than any other in my 18+ years on here. They are a buffet restaurant about 5 miles from you east on 192 but only do breakfast at weekends. All the pancakes you can eat as well as twenty odd other breakfast items. Probably waffles as well. I think I lot of people like Cracker Barrel for breakfast too which is close by. I haven’t been there in a few years but enjoyed it when we went 😀
Kekes meant to be great too but further away… |

Keke's will be opening soonish across from Sunset Walk/Rolling Oaks.
Cracker Barrel would be my first choice for pancakes for now.

I seemed to have overlooked CB
It used to be one of our main "go to" places for breakfast but in Nov 2021 (and in May 2022) they'd dropped plain hash browns from their breakfast menu and only offered hash brown casserole which contains onions to which Joan has a serious allergy. No other breakfast potato option so we ditched CB. However a Dibber a few weeks ago ago said they'd bought back plain HBs so CB will be back on the list for Nov. We use the one at Dunson/27 though which is nearer for us. Mick
