Anyone booked a hotel with crystal travel?

We want 3 nights in San Fran at the start of our trip at either the Plaza or the zephyr and prices have been crazy high for months. Come across deals for the plaza today with stayforlong and crystal travel….stayforlong seems to get bad reviews but crystal travel seem to be reputable and are U.K. based. It’s half the price so still a little wary, has anyone used them before?

Never heard form them nd wouldnt use anyone except myself to book hotels in California - going direct means I know I get the best deal (after getting flights from reputable 3rd parties hunch as booking.com, Expedia etc - then go direct to hotel and ask them to beat it and 99/100 they do either by match and upgrade or in hard $)

If the price is hard to believe (too low) then there’s a reason for that - alarm bells are toiling here

SF is very expensive and cheaper hotels are basic no frills affairs like The Grant, Columbia Motor Inn etc If they are offering a rate that is half the rate seen on the hotels's website and on the likes of Expedia etc then I'd be very wary and looking for the catch. Is the deal listed on a public website?

We used crystal travel for flights, and we wouldn’t use them again based on their customer service. Unhelpful when we had a problem and lucky for us Air Lingus managed to help us directly….
