Mobile Anyone Been To The Sky Garden?

Anyone visited The Sky Garden in London?

We’re a little confused about the dress code.

Is there one? Or is it just for the restaurants?

Also, can you take rucksacks in?

No dress code that i saw. The day we went up we were in wo ter coats as it was a horrible wet/snowy day. Didn't go in a restaurant though.
I think you can take bags(i only had my hand bag) , but you go through airport style security before you get in a lift.

No dress code for the general thing (no idea about restaurants). As above, bags are fine but get searched, and they don't like you taking pictures in the downstairs security bit either.

We've been a couple of times. Very relaxed for just taking in the view points. We had a small rucksack that just pass through a scanner. We have also eaten at one of the restaurants and it was just smart casual dress. If you can get the time slot sunset is fantastic from there.

Cheers all. That definitely answers our queries!

We’ve got tickets for next week so we’re looking forward to doing something that we haven’t done in London before

We booked a bar table, and ordered some food, really nice, with stunning views, make sure you book and you will walk straight in, otherwise you will be queuing for quite a while, like someone else said yes you can take a bag, just like at the airport through a scanner.

Do you mean book restaurant reservation?

We just booked the free visit, and went straight up when we got there. It’s supposed to be an hour allocation, but nobody enforced it. Airport like security, but I only ever take a small bag to town these days anyway - but I’m fairly sure people had rucksacks.
