Mobile How to book a 3 way flight?

I’m thinking of doing a week in New York and a week in Florida next year not doing Disney but just universal.

If I wanted to DIY my holiday, how do I book a 3 way flight?

I normally book the transatlantic legs as “multi city”. You normally find this option on any scheduled airline website. Then I add the internal flight with whichever airline is cheapest - normally Southwest or JetBlue.

You can select multi city with kayak/skyscanner etc then add London to NYC, MYC to MCO and MCO to London with all your dates.
The other option is out to NYC and home from Orlando and book an internal flight.

You can book either, I’d suggest pricing different options up with different websites and then decide. Do take into account that multi-city flights usually include the same baggage allowance for all flights when comparing prices. Internal US flights often charge extra for checked luggage.

Into and out of separate airports is also called ‘open-jaw’.

I like BA holidays for DIY trips and they are generally well priced. I also like that final payment is due 5 weeks before

We did similar. I priced the whole thing up with Virgin (they used Delta for the internal flight) but it was too expensive. So I booked Virgin in and out of the USA and Southwest Airlines for the internal flight. Southwest had the luggage allowance we needed. They have a similar structure to EasyJet with pricing, the earlier you book the cheaper the flights.

We done the same, I booked UK - Orlando - NYC - UK with British Airways using the Multi-City option and we booked the Orlando - NYC flight with United. It worked really well for us both times we've done it!

Thomascook airlines do a multi city option on there website. Ie: Man-Nyc then return mco-man.

We are possibly looking to do a few days in nyc for a few days before moving onto Orlando next year. Hoping to get reward flights with Virgin though doing something similar.
