Paint for damp wall..

My elderly mum needs some paint for a brick wall, to stop the damp coming through...is there such a thing?

Yes called no more damp or damp stop you get different types depending if it�s an inside or out side wall

Polycell Damp Seal is pretty good.. used it in our home with good results!

Honestly if you have damp walls the source needs sorting rather than covering up but I'm sure you know that.

Where is the damp, can you isolate the reason?

I think it�s some tiles that need sorting...I will see if my brother can do it...like a lot of things...it gets left to me! 🙃

I'd agree with this. Sometimes these products can make the problem worse. It would be best to have the root of the problem remedied.

If that's the case, dont get the paint. Get the tiles fixed and let the wall dry out rather than trap the damp in. When its dry scrape it back and repaint normally.
