Talk to me about Volcano Bay
We'll be staying at RPR for 3 nights and though we'd spend a morning at VB.
Do we get early entry? How do we get there is we don't take our car? What are the best rides? We are a family of 4, DCs aged 11 and 13.

Yes early entry 1hr before opening time. It is well worth using it . Easy shuttle bus from the hotel. Short journey very straightforward. Much easier than taking your car.
We loved the Moana rides and the Aqua coaster. I would go to the aqua coaster first then the Moana rides. After this we did the Tahiwai Tubes. We prefer the raft rides but there are also plenty body slides including a body plunge. We love Volcano bay- the fearless river is also great. |

Ohh what is the fearless river?
The ride where 4 people sit on a long raft looks fab, what's that called?

The long raft is the aqua coaster Krakatau- It is great. The fearless river is a fast lazy river- good fun you need to wear a life jacket with good reason.

The fearless river is a lazy river that is faster moving with waves etc. You wear a life jacket rather than floating with a tube.
It is great fun! However my only advice is to stick in the middle and not the walls!
