We actually felt we did less in this holiday than usual as it was so humid plus a lot of the time was spent catching up with our son, but looking back we did actually see and do loads.

The food that evening was delicious (and the lunch was good too, I just wasn’t keen on my choice). I promise we have taken much more food photos throughout the rest of the trip 😂

I was like you, I felt it disrespectful to take photos inside the War Museum.
Loved the retro Reunification Palace. Did you visit the loos there? The one I used was a step up to the 'throne'

We do waffle on a bit 😂 but there was so much of interest we wanted to write it all up.

We used really grotty loos in the palace, in the basement. I’d forgotten about the nice ones you had mentioned 😂 I did find most loos pretty good in Vietnam though

Thank you for reading. The heat and humidity took time to get used to, we struggled in the Reunification Palace with all the steps (I will admit we aren’t the fittest family 😂 ) but we did cope better as the holiday went on. We took regular breaks wherever we went and always carried lots of water with us (luckily bottled water was just pennies 😂 )

Thank you, it was lovely to have Ian as a guide, meet his friends and girlfriend and just have family time together. We made lots of new memories throughout the trip and it was so good to see how well Ian and Georgia got on together too

Just wanted to say we haven’t forgotten our report. Georgia has been settling into uni life and obviously isn’t at home much during term time. She has a study week early November and is planning to be home for this and we have said we hope to get another day posted on here, it’s going to be a long time in the writing but we will get there 😀
