I have now added the ability to move an item to a different day. It was a much requested feature to save people having to delete the item and recreate it on another day.
In the Edit Plan screen click the  and a box will pop up with a list of days you can move the item to, as in the image below. Just click the day and it will move to the bottom of the list on the selected day.
