Decisions! Half Marathon Kick-Off Party
Did anyone go to the kick-off party last year? I'm considering whether to go or not but it's €49 each (not including any food) and goes from 9pm-12pm which seems rather late with such an early start the next day! I can't decide if it's worth it! Probably not doing the 5k so it wouldn't be a post-race party for us.

I did it last year but not bothering this year! I decided to put my money towards an annual pass instead of a party ticket, which actually worked out well as I was able to book hotel with AP discount & add bibs plus I'm signed up for all 3 races & an early night is definitely the sensible option lol
The best thing about the party last year was there were no queues for any of the rides as most people seemed to be queuing for characters instead. Crush was shut though which was a shame & there were no photos on rock n roller coaster (even though the flash went off). The food last year was awful so I'm guessing that's why it's not included this time. |

Thanks, you've made my mind up about not going to the party! I have a Classic AP and found out they're giving 40% discount even with the Classic AP so I am tempted to book on-site as well! It's still so much more than off-site though :-(. I only want to be on site for the pool really so probably not a good enough reason! A dip in the pool after the races does sound soooo good. I feel like I've only got until 3pm to decide as the bib only is going to be available!

Excited about Disney

Sorry to jump in. I'm brand new to this & looking at possibly doing it. Can you book your race entry online through Disney, or do you have to phone up?
Thanks Jo |

Hi Jo, yes if you're booking race entry only and you're not staying at a Disney hotel, you book it online at run.disneylandparis
Race entry was supposed to open yesterday but they're having technical issues with their website so it could open any time now. I would keep checking back on the website every few hours if you're interested as they will probably sell out quite quickly once it opens. |
