Rides with a toddler

So we will be taking our 2 1/2 year old next year. Anyone know what rides he can do or do we have to do that child swap thing?

We are going as a big family group so will be enough of us to swap about lol x

Hi,

I put the following spreadsheet together last year to determine what rides our DD could go on. It allows you to input a specific height and shows you the available attractions.

It also includes an 'average height' for different ages, as we wanted to plan future trips on what is likely to be available.

Apologies if it isn't fully up to date (it was last year), but hopefully will help.

Some of the rides (like barnstormer min 3 yo) had minimum ages on as well hence why they are showing as no. However our daughter was around 89cm at 25/26 months.

If you'd prefer just the list then this is also very good.

Hope this helps.

Also, rider switch works very well for everything else, especially if you are in a big group.

Do they ask for their ages? DS who is 2 1/2, is already 93cm. We took him to Chessington last week and went on to a roller coaster there. I didn't think to check age limits. Will they stop you?

They didn't with us. They checked the height and that was the only criteria

Didnt realise there were age limits when we went, my daughter was on the barnstormer a few times when she was 1 (20 months), she just made the height requirements depending on who was measuring her.

I took our oldest on Barnstormer a few days before he turned 2! If they are tall enough you're fine.

From our experience there was loads he could do at MK rides-wise, less so elsewhere. So we ended up going to MK about 6 times!
