Outbound flight VS75 cancelled

Just had the email that our outbound flight for 27th Sept from MAN has been cancelled. Now starting the virgin refund battle, wish me luck.

Do chargeback it's the best way

I’m willing to wait for the refund if it helps keep people in jobs. As long as I get the money eventually

Just had our flight out on 3rd October cancelled ... am assuming I can request a refund even though the return is still showing ...
Time to WhatsApp and see what happens ... will then try calling next week , but if after 7 days not had any progress I will be going down the chargeback route

Chargeback or refund will make little difference to whether or not people keep their jobs.

Doing a chargeback now though avoids you having to battle many more if the bailout fails and the airline goes pop

Yep under EU rules if the outbound or return is cancelled (and you aren't offered a broadly similar alternative) then they are bound by law to refund it all

Great and thanks as I just cancelled Disney 😪 . We kinda knew it would happen but it’s still a sad moment ... we lost our May trip too

Same here. Was due to go in May with my sis and her grandson the Sept with DD and DSIL

Just had email our September flight now cancelled. Our hotel has also not re opened. Honestly do not know if i should take the voucher and re book.
