I’m due to be going in May but desperately hoping they cancel and just wondered if anyone’s in May had been cancelled. I’m LGW-MCO 1050 flight. If BA cancel your flight they are legally obliged to offer you a full refund (a voucher is an alternative offer). Even though we are now out of the EU the UK Government have retained the consumer rights that were in the EU Directive.

Our late April flights LGW-TPA not cancelled yet.

When I spoke to them, they said if I cancel now, I could get a voucher. I don’t want to have a voucher because I want to go in May and the voucher has to be used by April 22. When I asked about extending, she couldn’t say. She did say if they cancel then I could get a full refund which is what we are entitled to. I’m waiting 3 weeks prior to departure to see what happens but hopefully be cancelled by then!

When BA cancelled our Nov flights I rang and asked for a refund. To be honest I had to be resolute as the guy did try to persuade me to take a voucher - just stick to your guns.

Took them 4 weeks to get it back on my CC but much better than VA who took around 14.
