How old do you have to be to be a witness we are only going with our 2 daughters age 6 and 7!

Witnesses are not required by law, but some officiants insist on them.

As Previously Said whitnesses are optional in the state of Florida.

I Do remember reading a trippie that the kids signed as witnesses tho as the bride and groom wanted their whole family ok the marraige certificate and it looked really cute with their little name scribbles x

I've seen pics of kids signing both with pens and with finger prints. Our witnesses signed before the ceremony ... go figure lol
