So sorry not to have updated, and thank you for your kind suggestions and offers.

We are home now, but just a quick query, if a villa is advertised with TV's in all rooms, then that is quite clear, however, when we arrived only 2 TVs 'worked' in that they were connected to Roku and no cable. I know streaming is the 'in' thing but being elderly we do not understand it, it just appears to be film, after film after film, with no normal things like local news and weather Upon arriving we were given instructions, which also said that the TVS in bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 were not tv's at all but could be used for watching DVDs only. I wondered how wide-spread this is becoming.

This was an annoyance, but the actual reason was the condition of the washing machine, I would not have washed the dogs' bed in it it was extremely dirty, 'hair' all over, as were the bathmats, damp and mouldy again with hair.

Is this becoming the norm, because if so, should it not included in the web site, or at least mentioned prior to payment! I am disabled and rely on TV alot once in bed. I know we don't go on holiday to watch TV all the time, but most villas provide them even so.

Again, thanks so much for the offers, and if we should pluck up courage to go again, I will try those of you who have kindly made offers.

We along with lots of villa owners are now using Roku sticks in bedrooms ( but still have a tv package for the main room )but ours are loaded with some tv channels as well for news, films, Disney Netflix etc , this is because the cable firms were just getting too expensive, our package almost doubled once it was taken oven by a new firm.
I would imagine that if they advertise tvs in all rooms but dont mention which channels they provide then their advert although misleading is accurate .

Hope you were still able to enjoy the holiday - did you come home early?

Personally if those were the only issues I'd not have moved as the TV situation was indeed as advertised even if not as expected and had it been vital to my holiday I wouldn't have assumed.

If it was just one area that was dirty id have got onto the managing agents or owner and asked for them to be cleaned ASAP.

We had air con issues this summer, it wasn't great but the owner sent someone in straight away. Things break or get missed, so long as it's sorted out quickly , then within reason I see that as reasonable.
