Best Off-Site Hotel within Walking Distance to Parks
Hello,
I'm very excitedly planning our next trip and have decided to take the plunge and buy APs, i'm therefore looking to stay off-site for the first time ever! Can anyone recommend the best hotel to book that is within walking distance to the parks? I'm not averse to using the shuttle or RER but would prefer the option to walk if possible. I believe the Hi-Park is the closest but it's not getting great reviews at all at the moment so that puts me off slightly... ! Edited at 05:04 PM. |

I stayed at the Hipark around three years ago and thought it was fine. It is the closest to the park and there is also a bus service, however this doesn't run early enough to get there for EMH and can also get very busy at peak times, which put me off a bit.
I would go back to the Hipark but next time I stay offsite I'm going to look for a hotel near to the RER as I think it would be much more convenient than fighting with the buses if I don't feel like walking. Both the Ibis and the budget Ibis seem to get good reviews and are just a few yards from the RER entrance. They are further from the parks that the Hipark however the vloggers Krispysmore stayed at the budget Ibis for the runDLP weekend and they walked. Just to add, always double check booking websites for prices of onsite hotels - off peak prices can be very reasonable (I've booked two nights at the Santa Fe in March for around £120). |

Thanks for your reply. I think I'm leaning towards being nearer the RER even if that does add a bit onto the walking journey it will be nice to be able to get the train and be close to Auchan too!
I have looked at the onsite hotels on the booking websites but as it's Feb Half Term it's coming up at £800 for the Santa Fe, compared with £230 for HiPark! |

I've just found a great deal on the french site and can get 4nights with park tickets for 780 euros - so I may just end up scrapping my off-site/annual pass idea all together!
