Tipping at Teppan Edo in Epcot

Do people tip the chef in this restaurant or is this covered in the service charge at the end?

Just the same as anywhere else, by the time your bill comes the chef is long gone, in fact our Chef was already serving another table.

Just wasnt sure if people tipped the chef after he had finished at your table as it’s a bit different to other restaurants

We've always tipped the chef when he has finished cooking the meal.

I'm not sure at what point you would, we were still eating when ours left & she was already on another table before desserts arrived. We eat at the Kobe every trip & have never seen anyone tip the Chef, certainly no-one did at our TE table & there were 3 families

We ate there last Friday, it was excellent and the chef was very entertaining but it never occurred to me to tip her.

She was cooking at another table long before we had finished.

My opinion is that you wouldn’t tip the chef if they were cooking in a kitchen, the prices are inflated for the experience so that kind of covers the novelty factor.

I just tipped the server as normal at the end.
