Universal parks after 6pm

Just wondering what the crowds are like after 6pm in the Universal Parks ?

Going through my vacation planner for May and I see that Islands of Adventure is open until 9pm. Anyone have any experiences of being there until late on, and how busy it is ?

We were there this May. It didn�t tend to start clearing out until about an hour before park close - but the crowds were not big anyway. 😊

We were in the parks till close in August and they weren�t busy at all, we had express passes but everything was a walk on. Most people were heading towards the Hogwarts light show so we went against the crowds and did the rides instead.

At the moment theres a Hogwarts light show and the cinematic celebration...
