Pleased to hear someone thinks it looks massive as all looking rather small to me & im panicking I’m not going to fit everything I want into each room though builders keep telling me it’s all big enough!

The numbers on my plans were'massive to me' during building I thought this looks smaller than I expected.
After all walls floors ceilings lighting went in it felt bigger than i expected.
It has been ripped out again due to the fire and I am thinking wow this looks so small lol...Even though I know what it looks like

Builders are inside now .. latest pics.

Standing in my daughters bedroom looking at our new bathroom area

Standing in new en-suite, looking at new bathroom area .. the existing part of DD’s bedroom will become part of the new landing

New en-suite, area where bucket is is shower cubicle, other side to right of frame is part of new bathroom

Windows going in .. back of house fine but front wrong size & wrong design so got to wait for changes..window fitters are verrrry slow!

The builders are great, really hard & fast workers who are great to get on with, working a little too quick as not giving me enough time to clear with only a nights notice given of rooms they’re going in to. Also have fitted pipes for en-suite in place on architect drawings not bathroom designer which they knew I had but didn’t think to ask for & I didn’t know they were starting it & only saw tonight when taking pics!

DD on camp bed base with her mattress in our room, crowded but not too bad. Emptying her wardrobes to hopefully put everything back in if the wardrobes fit on the landing.
Whole house, bar the lounge is freezing & we’ll be getting baths at in laws & showers at David Lloyd’s as far too cold to use ours! Text the builders when anyone needs the loo & they pop outside returning when all clear text sent 🤣

Will go outside for pics tomorrow as scaffolding all down, windows on all back of house, slide n stack doors fitted on new dining room & hopefully bifolds on outbuilding!

Looks great, I'm sure once all the internal walls are up and plastered you will get a better sense of how spacious it is. That dressing area is every woman/mans dream

Looking great I love this part, where you can see the. changes taking place. I don't know ab out you but when you are stood in it it always feels smaller than imagined. When all the walls are done and painted it will be bigger than you imagined lol My house feels smaller now they taken the plasterboard off even though I know it felt bigger before lol.

Thanks. Yes it’s good to get a feel for the areas & yes too as I’ve totally panicked many times thinking ‘oh gosh that’s far too small’ areas that are plastered do feel bigger than before plastering so hopefully will feel bigger yet once decorated.

Will do a search for your thread as not read it for a while (as not been on) hope it’s all going well.

I hope so as I do panic it’s all too small & things are going to be cramped.

More a walk in wardrobe I suppose as just didn’t want anything but the bed & two bedside tables in the bedroom & didn’t need/want an extra bath in the en-suite so had the space to make this.

Coming along nicely. The studding is constructed well. Are they insulating between the plasterboard skins of those walls to keep noise transference down?

I haven't posted in a while lol...things stalled a little. I have roofer and plumber coming in tomorrow so hopefully in the next couple of weeks there will be updates
