I would recommend a walking sandal. Great support easy to adjust and cool for your feet.

Something like this

These type of trainers
store.nike/gb/en_gb/pw/roshe-shoes/dngZoi3

DH and I both wear them in the gym as they are super lightweight and breathable. If you wear them in the rain you'll get wet feet very quickly!
They can also be machine washed which helps

Also check what socks you are wearing. Cheap socks aren't the best if you are getting blisters. Get some thicker nike socks for instance.

I take a selection of footwear. Trainers / flip flops and sandals.

I really rate Saltwater sandals. They are leather and are able to go in the water. Getting the wet whilst wearing also helps mould them to your feet. Never had blisters in those what so ever

I bought these this summer and walked for 3 days around Rome, comfortable and no blisters. Or I wear fit flops which I’ve done for our last 4 trips to Disney.

I wear Crocs Cleo iii, they’ve discontinued these now but I’ve never had a blister, rubbed feet, great for wet rides, there is a new version out, don’t get thinking they are like the Crocs you normally see, they aren’t.

Yeah, crocs have hundreds of different designs, my DW wouldn’t wear the original style, but she loves the couple of pairs she has.
However, I have no fashion sense whatsoever and love the original styles, as you say it doesn’t matter if they get wet.

What is this and where do you get it? I really struggled this summer in Orlando and equally after a few days walking in NYC! Wang to make sure that doesn’t happen next year!

It's fleece padding that you stick to your feet, so that gets rubbed instead of your foot. We've got some that came in sheet firm, so you just cut it to shape and size. Boots sell it, as do Amazon
