3 legged stool

Taking my mother in law with us in September, but I know she will struggle at the parades and fireworks etc to stand and wait for the time required, so has anyone taken one of the small 3 legged fold up stools into the parks? Was thinking this would be ideal for her and I could fold it up and carry in my back pack? Do you think I would have Any issues getting through security with it ?

Would depend on what they class it as.

I think they are not allowed sorry. I’ve never seen anyone using one in 20 years either TBH. There are places to sit for some parades if you can sacrifice the best view. Benches for Illuminations. A wall outside Pecos Bills for MK parades. Fantasmic is seated anyway. Or there are the fireworks desert parties. Pricey but would addrsss your MiLs needs. Good luck. I took my mum to DLP and she struggled with the ‘standing around’.

If she needs it maybe something like this would help? You could leave it in the pushchair areas when she's not using it.

I took one in 2010 when I was recovering from illness, no problems getting it into the parks

They are a bit stricter now on what they allow into the parks so for anyone wishing to take them it's worth email WDW beforehand to check. Include a picture of the item in the email to them
