QSDP do you plan it or wing it?
I'm used to ddp and all the planning that takes.
Next time we are on QSDP and I was just wondering if I should start checking menus and figuring out where to eat according to where we might be - is that what you guys do? |

There’s nothing wrong with doing some research beforehand.
If you find you’re in the mood for something specific at the time then having the location of that food in the back of mind will help. We don’t plan QSDP but I do read and keep up to date with menus and spread out places including places that have less common offerings in between the standard pizza/chicken nugget venues.

We don’t plan where we will eat but we do look at the menus so we have an idea of what we would like to try so that if we are wanting to eat we have a bit of an idea where to go to.
We never make it to all of the places we would like to try because it just never works out that way! |

We have not been on QSDP before but will be for half of our holiday next year. We always look up restaurants before and reviews as I hate going somewhere and being disappointed - a bit of planning usually stops this. So rather than being rigid on where we are eating each day, I just have a list of places we want to try at some point.

It's definitely worth checking out menus do you find places to eat that offer a variety otherwise you can easily end up eating nothing but burgers for the whole time. In 5 trips I haven't eaten a single burger, but have eaten some lovely food. I wrote a trip report last year that you might find a useful read. It has photos of everything we ate and how we used our credits. The link is in blue at the bottom of my signature

I guess we do plan our QS . However it’s by location.
If it’s MK Columbia harbour house , Book a breakfast/lunch at Bog, or one of the monorail hotels QS AK flame tree barbecue, pizzafari family style ,satuli canteen, Hs backlot or the food carts Epcot ,far too many to mention Ds same as Epcot |

We’ve only eaten QS meals and started off by eating at the nearest place at the time we decided we were hungry. Over the years, we now have some favourites and will now make our plans around them, so if we’re going to MK, we’ll aim to be around Columbia Harbour House for lunch. I’ll also look at the menus before we go and will have a general idea of what I might want. I’m fussier than OH and also have some allergies but I’ve never gone hungry and usually put on several pounds...

Wing it. But we do know which are our favourites and head for them most of the time.
