Cold sores - anyone help?

Unfortunately our not yet 3 year old GDS has suffered from cold sores since he was around 6months and he's had every prescription med he could all useless only thing that works when we see the tell tale red spot good old fashion TCP lotion any other cream seems to just spread it all over his face

Ah Gruff it upsets me to hear that at only 3 yrs old. Poor little man. I was in my 20's when I first got them but they have got worse as I got older. My doc told me someone must have given me a kiss and that's how I got it originally. My Hubbie dosent get them! I have to be so careful I would hate to pass it to anyone else esp the children. I officially look like Ms Piggy this morning and they are both throbbing. Our Xmas shopping day gone out the window

I have suffered with cold sores from I was a baby and although it sounds strange the only thing that helps is whole milk (google it)

Which one do you get from Amazon? I hate the new formula of the H&B one. The original was brilliant ☹️

I developed a huge cold sore under my nose AND on my lip on holiday 🙄🙄
Usually happens every holiday too 🤬🤬
Please don't let them stop you going out. I'd be in for weeks if I stayed in with mine!

Thanks Katie they were awful just waiting on the scabs to heal now but feel so much better tingling and face pain is gone now. I got one too on r last holiday so I know that pain! Have a lovely Christmas everyone!
