Mobile Weird virgin Atlantic flight prices

We’re going back to Disney next November and can now book flights. We’re going 1st-12th November and the virgin prices for these specific dates are crazy! £1300 for economy per person!

Playing around with dates just a tiny amount (cutting holiday short a day or extending a day) and the prices change back to something more normal and you can get reward seats too.

Is this likely just a bit of blip and prices for our specific dates will adjust down or is there something happening we don’t know about?

VA are only up to the 13th for return dates so you need to leave it a few days for the return price to drop to a more reasonable level.

Funny thing is that the prices for returning 11th are fine, it’s just the 12th is crazy. Hope you’re right that they’ll adjust down to a reasonable level

They will do. If you put the search criteria for 1 week instead of exact dates you will spot the pattern. Expand it even further and you can spot even more seasonal variations such as half term etc.

Still looking for VA flights from Manchester into Atlanta next September and PE is around £1150 per seat. Its madness, not sure if its Brexit or $ to £ exchange rate or just what the price is now. Hanging on in the hope of a Xmas sale

I think a lot of the prices are nuts because VA have cut the number of flights

This is true, they have less volume to sell to the US next year so they don't need to sell as many cheaply at first release.

The prices will come down if demand doesn't pick up but right now they are working on the principle that if you want to go you'll have to pay what they ask

We should all just sign a pact - DON'T BUY AT THESE PRICES!

I have a standing agreement not to buy any flights to Florida unless they are under £500 each.

We've been over 20 times and always in school holidays so it must be possible to get deals...
