I like the close photo of your gin and tonic, plus your Mac and cheese with bacon looked yummy. A bit of a palaver with the taxi, but good thinking to order one from the Premier Inn. Pre travel days are the best aren't they? I don't think I will take one for granted again either.

 This was one of the smoothest starts we have had 
 Normality ... what even is that  
That dinner was much nicer than we expected. And no big queue like we often have if we stay at the PI. It was really cold as well with that taxi faff so the hotel lobby was a bit of sanctuary. I never realised you can’t just walk out and jump in a cab. I think I expected just to see a taxi rank.
