I agree the parking fees are hard to swallow. I know Universal do it too but the longest we stay on site at Universal is 4 or 5 days whereas we spend at least double that at Disney. Americans also tend to do less days onsite at Disney and if they bring their cars, that means they’ve saved on flight costs which isn’t an option for us. I wish Disney would recognise the fact that us brits stay longer and give us reduced parking rate (or better yet remove the charge!)
We have considered ditching the car many times but we just love the freedom and flexibility too much! We are now seriously thinking we might rent points for our next trip to avoid the resort parking fees, especially now that deals like free dining is looking less and less likely. |

When at Disney we like to visit a park a day whether we go in the morning (dont do silly hrs o'clock am for a park not early risers) or a mid morning start. Back to the villa to eat or pool time and we very often like to go back to a park in the evenings. So, paying $25 dollars a day on top of the hugely expensive park tickets and not be able to go to another park on the same day to me is a no go. Park hopping needs to be back for next year.

You cant park hop any more. You're park reservation is for the one park one day, unless the rules have now changed.

Oh I did not realise that that was an option, assumed from other posts that once you left the park for the day that was it. Thanks.
