Sensors should be inside the tumble area behind where the lint trappers. Mine are 3 ridges.

I have an AEG one and have plumbed it onto the washing machine waste, no more emptying water which is a PITA as my other half never emptied it until it was overflowing

Thought about doing that but decided didn't really need to as mine tells me to empty it if I forget and it gets full
