The first musical I really remember is Sound of Music, my aunt had the album. Listen to "You have to be taught" it's very ahead of its time and say still relevant.

We’ve decided DD full stop isn’t a musical. Singing still of the night isn’t enough for us 😂

West Side Story.
The only one I’ve really not enjoyed is La La Land. On paper it’s got my name all over it but I’ve never managed to see it through to the end

First west end show we saw. £12.50 for a matinee showing! Maria just stops me in my tracks and melts my heart.

I think I have different genres within the musical!
Wicked
Seven brides for seven brothers
High society
King and I
My fair lady
Chicago
Rocky horror
Calamity Jane
White Christmas

It’s hard to think of a musical I don’t like for different reasons. As an audio Describer I have been privileged to watch quite a few. Though the bay city rollers musical wasn’t something I enjoyed. Avenue q is an acquired taste - the internet is for...is quite funny.

I could write about heaps! Good to think of something other than headlines!

Singing in The Rain then Guys and Dolls. I love all the old MGM musicals.
