Avis/BA executive booking

Booked a car through BA executive with Avis. Managed to get the booking linked to our avis preferred. When checking the booking on avis, right at the bottom it's saying we have £152 to pay on pick up.
Rang avis up who said not to worry, I wouldn't have anything to pay as that the outstanding amount shown is what they have to get from BA after I return the car.

Has anyone else who booked via BA/Avis noticed this on their booking?

Yes, when we did this for September 2015 the booking was showing the car as unpaid, even when we had paid BA in full. I phoned Avis who explained that it showed that way because BA hold the money and don't pay them until near the time of the hire. We didn't have any problem with having to pay any extra and have booked BA / Avis again for September this year.

Thank you for the reply, that's good to know. It puts our minds at rest.

How did you get it linked to your Avis preferred account.
