Water Park Options
Hi,
So I've just read about how manic Volcano Bay is, which I can understand seeing how new the park is. It's our first time to Orlando, we travel on the 20th August, so out of the other water parks which one do you all recommend? Many thanks! |

We prefer Typhoon Lagoon as we use it for a "chill out" day, there seems to be more space and beach area to relax on. I believe our children & grandchildren prefer Aquatica as there are more flumes & slides

Aquatica by SeaWorld definitely! Has a range of different slides, two wave pools, beach and even has commerson dolphins incorporated into one of the rides!

Do you have all/any of them already included in tickets you have already bought?
For me, if I had tickets for all then I would make time to do them all, but if I had say Disney Ultimate tickets but nothing yet for Aquatica then I would just do BB and TL and leave Aquatica for another trip. They are all very good in their own special ways. |

Love all the water parks, but Aquatica nicks it for us, the huge kid's play area was an absolute magnet to DS when he was small, and Roa's Rapids is worth going for alone.
That said, we love BB & TL too, all have something great to offer

Depends what tickets you have, age of children ( if u have any) and what you want from the day. We have 2 DS (7&10). Our favourite is TL. So amazing there, beautiful setting, good selection of rides & whole atmosphere actually feels relaxing. BB is good too and has good rides but feels less relaxed. maybe due to snow theme, even though I love he snow! Lol. We weren't keen on aquatica. It was sooo busy, lines were big for all the rides, over an hour for food, lazy river was so packed with tubes and people you could hardly move etc..not relaxing at all but rides looked good. Hope this helps.

Thank you! It's only me and hubby, so like the sound of typhoon lagoon, for a bit more of a relaxed day.
Counting down the days! |
