Hi. We are going this year too. It will be our first time and we are so excited. I was going to book for Monday 2nd September but have just noticed that it is Labor Day! Should I avoid that day and go another night? Will it be very busy? I have a feeling it will be! Our other choice is going on 8th. Not sure now. Any advice would be great thanks.

Oh heck! Thanks Boothy 16. I thought as much. I will book for 8th September then! I know that it is a Sunday but it has to be quieter than Labor Day itself- I hope! Thanks once again.

Yes I remember we arrived Wednesday before Labor day weekend on Thursday Magic kingdom was walk on every ride, Friday to Monday (labor weekend) went crazy, then Tuesday after Labor day weekend went quiet.

Oh well. Our holiday is booked now. We will have to make the best of it. Hopefully we might get a few bargains in the Labor Day sales!

We have booked for 27th too , it’s my son’s 21st that day , and we really wanted to do discovery cove that day too but not sure if that would be too busy a day and night . As we are only there ten days its hard fitting it in - the 23rd is our second night there so jet lag would be a problem and 30th means our last day (31st) would be spent recovering from the late night party and I didn’t want that . Maybe I leave discovery cove to another day .

I have booked the 27th for us lot too... we'll need a Dibb costume parade and our own Candy line at this rate!
Haven't told DH that I have bought them yet...

For those yet to book, have a look on touring plans as they done an article for last years based on previous years evidence on "best" days to go. Generally the earlier you go the better but also midweek days are quieter than the Fri/Sun.
As far as the night, you can enter from 4:00pm, although the party doesn't start until 7:00pm, the last fastpass will be 6:00pm, you have to Link your pass to MDE to do these in advance. 2 parades, Hallowishes fireworks, headless horseman, special event photo ops, candy & various events going on all night. It's a good night, we dress up , 2 adults, & feel that it does add to the occasion but you don't have to.
If you don't have a normal Disney pass then I feel it's good value but if you do then it is getting to the tipping point value wise- I'll be £350 this year for 4 adults 3rd Oct & that's on top of the £1600 for Disney passes
