Hagrids Coaster and Lockers
Does anyone know how it works with Hagrids coaster and lockers?
Do you queue, get to lockers, dump stuff, then carry on queuing? Or is it grab a locker before queuing? I’m assuming the first option if the queues are hours long sometimes. |

The lockers were near the entrance to the attraction but the queue stretched out beyond that. People were continuing to queue whilst 1 person put items in the locker. This was at opening. Later on they stopped people joining the queue outside the attraction which is why it seems to show maximum wait time 210 minutes

We were in the huge queue that started in Seuss land, once we got to the lockers we put our stuff in and then rejoined the queue at the entrance (what we should have done is left 1 person in the queue like others did).

There are lockers on the right next to the Hogwarts Express train (not the ride) and there are also lockers as you walk through the queue on the left before you go through Hagrids entrance. We were told to use the ones inside the queue, my husband left us to put our stuff inside and then caught up to us in the queue. It was easy enough for my husband to join us once the queue snakes inside.

Do you get any complaints from other people in the queue when a family member tries to rejoin you after storing the bags?

It didn’t cause any problems for us, the people around us were aware that one of the family had left for the lockers. We were lucky as it only took 45 mins for us to queue and ride-Hagrids had been closed due to weather and we started the queue at the actual entrance when they decided to re-open. If you have been in a long queue the people around you will be familiar with people going to the toilet/getting food/going to the lockers. Anyone just chancing their luck seems to be picked up on quickly so I’m sure it would be fine.
One of the team members on the ride told us to send one member to the lockers who could catch up later. Edited at 05:15 PM. |

That's good to know. Thank you. Will get my youngest daughter to put our bags in a locker she's the expert at that😂.

Thanks for the info guys.
Seems the general consensus is for one person to put things in a locker next to the entrance when getting near to it. Do they have the same metal detectors as other rides in Universal? Most of my things tend to live in zip pockets so would rather hang onto items if I could. |
