Calls/Data/Text included in USA for EE Max Customers

I didn't realise, but if you're on one of EE's Max plans (since Oct 2017), then Calls, Data, and Texts are included in your allowance when in the USA.
Wish i'd realised before I purchased a plan for the US sim card I have.

Yes, I can see that you are on the plan to max plan (4GEE Max 8GB).

Great news! You will be able to use all the allowances there( USA) as it’s a part of your plan and we have announced Roam Like Home there so you just need to restart your Phone when you reach there and everything will be working for you.☺

EE Customer Services:
Also make sure to turn on the data roaming to your device after restarting for use of data.

Does the include local calls within the US in my allowance?
EE Customer Services:
Yes, absolutely while there once you visit and restart the device after land you can easily make the calls and text free of cost there like in UK here and from there can make calls and text back to UK. But if you are calling from UK to USA will be chargeable as per standard rates

Great news. So no charge to call US numbers while I’m roaming in the US?

Yes, absolutely correct

Vodafone does this to on their Red plan. Used it this year in New York and Toronto

I’m in the US and am taking full advantage.

Data, texts and, calls. All without any additional charges

Data coverage can be patchy, that said free WiFi is available at so many places that it makes up for it

Yes its a really useful perk! Meant I didn't need to get a satnav last year!
