UK Passholders - Any comms from Disney at all?
To UK Passholders - have you had any communications from Disney at all?
I see them frequently messaging US Passholders and UK/US Ticketholders telling them when their dates are for booking and what their eligibility is - but as a UK Passholder I have had the square root of nothing! I'm already distraught at the thought of the other 6 people in our travel party being able to book 14 or 21 days reservations for Oct/Nov - whilst I can only get 3. I've emailed the V.I.Passholder support about that and not had anything back. I shouldn't have bothered upgrading to an AP and just stuck with multiple Ultimate tickets.

I'm not in the UK but am also international with a current AP (this is the second time I've had an AP, the last time was in 2017-2018). I've never received any emails from Disney about my AP. Definitely not an issue with them having the wrong email for me as they have managed to email me in the past about hotel reservations etc linked to the same MDE account!

Have raised this issue with Disney before and apparently it's down to the UK GPDR regulations.

I have raised this with them before. Had a pass way before GDPR and still never got any communication. Pretty peed off at the moment knowing my pass is worthless to me. I can’t honestly say I want to prebook if I can only book 3 days at a time. My March trip was cancelled and if I cancel my passes I won’t get enough back to buy a ticket for another trip. I use my pass for about 10 days out of 14. Not that I can even buy another ticket or annual pass. Mine will expire before end of August and sales are suspended but again I wouldn’t want to shell out over a grand each for another annual pass to be able to book 3 days!

I don’t get the emails either, but I don’t think it gdpr as lots in the US don’t appear to get them either.
I get my info from the AP group on Facebook. |

I don’t get AP emails but do get them from DVC, so I don’t see how it can be related to GDPR.

I also get emails from ShopDisney, and from Universal regarding my UOAP. Just nothing ever from Disney. Nothing in the post either and I understand US Passholders occasionally get things in the post.

I must be lucky my reading these previous replies we get emails. Our ap has also been extended etc.

There is a special Disney webpage dedicated to privacy where you can opt in and out- makes no difference.
