Disney waterparks

Just HOW busy are they at a weekend?

Our first full day falls on a Thursday so if we skipped water parks at the weekend we would have 4 park days in a row...

Not going until Oct 2019 just thinking ahead... very far ahead

They tend to be very busy however are not unbearable. Go early in the morning get the big rides done then just chill and enjoy the park for the rest of it.

Personally - A water park after 4 Park days in a row might be a good way to relax and recharge after a few busy days.

Monday would typically see a lesser crowd after the weekend.

Volcano Bay was the only park we felt like it was worth spending a full day. Both Blizzard and Typhoon became half days for us, allowing some R&R back at the hotel after and a more relaxed evening in the parks.

Do you not think 4 park days back to back is abit much?

We do normally go back to the pool in the afternoon for an hour or two on the first couple of days! Well we did last year,

I would prefer to do a water park the Monday,

We're doing a water park after 2 park days.
Our kids love getting to a water park so can't leave it too long

Past trips, we have always got there for opening and not really found it a problem. I have heard that towards the end of the day is quiet too.x

Having been in October last year, we found the water parks nowhere near as busy as August when we have been previously. I wouldn’t be particularly worried about a weekend in October based on our experiences.

The busy summer weekends are due largely to locals with cheap annual passes. I think most of us wouldn't feel much need to go in October when it isn't so hot.
