Itinerary Help - April 18
Hi,
This is leaving it a bit late but in panic mode now as we fly out next week and I haven't booked the fast passes! The main problem being that we have to set the day for the Disney parks in order to book the fast passes which is proving difficult as they are getting booked up for the convenient times. 1. Who is going? 2 ad, 2 ch (14 &11) 2. Where are you staying? with relatives 20 mins drive from airport - close to Hotel All Star Movies Disney, 10891-10813, Fern Rock Rd, Orlando, FL 32825, 3. Have you rented a car or are you relying on shuttle buses etc? Car rental 4. What tickets have you bought/are you buying? Disney/Universal/SeaWorld 14 day combo I have a fair idea for the blanks below but just wanted to see if anyone can advise. 30/03 Arrive midnight 31/03-01/04 Kennedy Space Centre/Cocoa Beach - fixed 02/04 03/04 04/04 05/04 06/04 Volcano Bay - fixed 07/04-08/04 Tampa/Busch Gardens - fixed 09/04 10/04 11/04 12/04 13/04 14/04 Evening Flight back |

Firstly make a list of the parks
1. Disney Magic Kingdom 2. Epcot 3. Animal Kingdom 4. Hollywood Studios 5. Blizzard Beach 6. Typhoon Lagoon 7. Universal Islands of Adventure 8. Universal Studios 9. Seaworld Not sure if that covers all your parks, if not add those. Also consider if you want to visit Disney Springs, Boardwalk, crazy golf or anywhere else. Then look at the Dibb park opening times on the column to the right of the page. Work out which parks you can miss, if any, on your list or which parks are half days. We only spend a half day in a water park for example, and only go to Disney Springs in the evening. Once you have done this, slot the parks into the dates on your itinerary in the way that suits you best. Then you really need to make your fast passes. You may not be able to get the most popular attractions as you are going so soon, but at least by booking some now you will avoid queuing for everything. Hopefully once you are there, some availability may open for the popular rides. Hope you have a lovely time, you have planned a lot in a 2 week period. We try to concentrate on either just Disney or other parks as to do all of them in one visit is difficult. Hopefully you won't feel too rushed. Remember to take time to rest, you can always do what you miss on another visit 😀 |

Thanks for the reply.
We are only doing 1 waterpark - Volcano Bay so that should clear a day or 2 to rest or catch up some rides. We didn't even look at the Disney Springs or Boardwalk, so thanks for the heads up...we may spend an evening here. |

Here's my rough suggestion:
I would stick to non- Disney parks for much of your first week, to let the Easter crowds die-down. 2nd Seaworld 3rd US / IOA 4th US/ IOA 5th MK for opening until mid afternoon 8th AK from 3pm until ROL 9th Mk from 4pm until Fireworks 10th HS from mid afternoon until Fantasmic or Star Wars fireworks 11th Epcot Do your tier 1 F?P then concentrate on World showcase & fireworks 12th MK or HS (for other fireworks) 13th Epcot Do a different Tier 1 FP and the rest of Future world As you can see I don't do whole days in the parks, as the afternoons are just too busy with queues for everything. So this way you get to have plenty of pool/shopping time during the other halves of the days. You'll probably need to slot in another half day at AK too. Have a great trip. |
