They won't have rejected it as they won't know you put the wrong expiration date on it.

I would email them first and see if they can amend it for you , if not they will advise you re-apply . I asked a question once again they answered quickly.

A new application should bring up the info that it cancels all existing etsa's

I once travelled to LA with the wrong expiration date on the Esta and no one noticed, didn't take the chance on my next trip !

Just a quick update to say that i've got it sorted now. Thank you so much for all the help and information.

The original application eventually got authorised. I then did another application and cancelled the first one out. The new application has now been authorised... so happy!

Just wondering why you renewed them this late as if there had been a problem you may have not been able to have sorted it.
