For me it would have to be 7 night minimum to make it worthwhile. I'd consider, say, Paris or somewhere nearer for 2 nights though.

I’ve just been to Amsterdam for 2 nights & would do it again. Obviously it’s a shorter flight, but it we still had 2 1/2 days there. We had lunch & a couple of drinks at the airport so that felt like part of the break.

We have done 3 nights in Tenerife before as we fancied a bit of sun and got a cracking deal. I did post my photo of my G&T from my lounger by the pool too as it was lashing down at home.

Would depend on the reason for travel tbh. If we needed a couple of days away to reduce stress or help out a family member in need then yes. As an actual mini break then no we’d need at least a week for that. I would be reluctant to travel far without a week of vacation to enjoy. Once arriving at the destination.
Then again I’m not a YouTube “influencer” or anything, who knows why they try to encourage others to do these flying visits? Not me! If I’m going to leave a carbon footprint I try to reduce our number of flights and journeys as it is. I think encouraging all the rapid tourism is irresponsible in the long term.

I’ve done numerous 2 nighters with my girlfriends. Spain, Portugal, Holland, Mallorca. Heck, there’s a whole posse of people who fly from Southend early on a Saturday morning to Jersey just to do parkrun and then they fly home in the afternoon! If you don’t fancy it, don’t go, but it’s not that unusual I don’t think...

Also, plenty of people fly to NYC just for 3 nights, and that’s a whole lot further !

Yup I've done New York for 3 nights. Dublin Vienna soon Krakow. All are short trips. If it's something I want to do dont give it a 2nd thought other than can I afford it and get the time off work.
