Dog Friendly short stay recommendations

Does anyone have any recommendations for somewhere short stay that is dog friendly but also a little bit of luxury.
We live in Staffordshire and ideally do not want to travel any further than 3 hours. Open to all locations as long as we have a good pub nearby
We have a very noise sensitive border collie that we have taken away in our own caravan in the past, but not for a few years and his 'quirkiness' is more enhanced now.
I am a bit of a clean freak hence it needing to be a top quality lodging rather than rustic IYSWIM
Ive looked at lots on line but after a bad experience a couple of years ago where the cottage we rented was not as the pictures suggested and not very clean, I am a little apprehensive.
Thanks in advance

I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough it’s in such a lovely part of the country too. We do always make sure we go out of season sept-May though as there are some restrictions to dogs going on the beaches.

Have a look at Weavers Cottage in Cartmel in the lakes, we stayed there a year ago and it was spotless, might be a bit big for you though

We love Anglesey, especially Rhosneigr. We’ve rented 4 different dog friendly cottages from Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings and they’ve all been very luxurious and you can filter results for dog friendly/ no of bedrooms etc.
