I love all these songs, don’t have Alexa but feeling tempted now. I do use Spotify though.

Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms always gives me the chills. Memories of driving home from a camping trip in Tenby with DH, me pregnant with our first child. We were both dripping wet as the tail end of a hurricane unexpectedly hit the South Wales coast and we were taking our broken and battered tent down in high winds and torrential rain. The journey home was treacherous but this album, and particularly this title track, kept me calm.

Alexa is fantastic - the door to many great memories such as above. A few notes ... and you right back there. A camping trip is no fun unless you get soaked at least once. Never been to Tenby but heard it’s a good run ashore!

Tenby is (IMHO) A lovely part of the world. The beaches are amazing.

For several years one could always rely on the fact it would rain on August bank holiday Monday at about 10am simply because that was when we would take the tents down after scout family camp. No one likes pussingba wet tent away !

I’m now listening to the whole album (I’m not going to admit that I’m doing the ‘walk of life’ dance around my kitchen though 😂 )

I wish I could say it was the only rainy camping trip we experienced but we did face a few more, not quite that bad, before trading the tent in for a caravan 😀

Can’t beat being in a tent when it’s raining ( not whilst putting up or taking down though)

Not a Dire Straits fan myself but it takes me back nevertheless

This was an August Bank Holiday Monday 😂

I agree about Tenby, Pembrokeshire is still our favourite place to take our caravan

I’ve never visited Pembrokeshire (flown over it a few times) I really need to visit!
