Can anyone recommend a hotel near Busch Gardens please?

Hi

We are thinking about doing an overnight stop in Tampa so we can visit Busch Gardens as we haven't been there for years.

From what I remember some areas near to Busch Gardens are less than desirable, but can't remember for sure and anyway everything has probably changed a lot.

Can anyone recommend a hotel in the vicinity in a good area please? Thank you.

We stayed at Holiday Inn & Suites (Tampa) that is virtually opposite the park. Room was very good and the complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the day.
Adjacent, there is a Red Lobster and Olive Garden and we felt plenty safe walking to and from.

Another vote for Holiday Inn, we've stopped there a couple of times. Reliable shuttle unlike some of the others, good size rooms and breakfast is edible but basic. Large carpark and friendly staff, especially Miss Ellie on the shuttle
