I would say its more like Big Thunder, no big drops really, one portion is backwards but you do not get dizzy and the one drop is fun rather than scary. The track is mostly close to the ground too which makes it feel faster than it is, but no big hights.

I have not been on Hagrid yet.

I wouldn’t compare FOP to Forbidden Journey, I think Forbidden
Journey is a bit more “intense” as you are genuinely moving and practically hanging upside down at one or two points, it isn’t entirely simulator like FOP. DH cannot do Forbidden Journey more than once or he gets sick, he fine on FOP.

Forbidden journey throws you around as the ride moves around the different scenes. Only part of the ride has screens which can make you feel sick. The seat tips up at times so you are facing the ceiling

Hagrid is fast in places but smoother than Everest and more like BTM but on a bike

I found forbidden journey intense and it made me feel quite ill! I thought it was just me but even the hubby agreed it throws you about a fair bit!

Forbidden journey does throw you around a lot and as suh you have shoulder restraints. The are you are on can and does tip you on your back and practically upside down at some points. hagrids is a multi launch coaster which has high speeds but no high drops. One point you do go backwards but this is mild with only 1 slight corner unlike everest where you spiral backwards. If you have been to alton towers then one feature of hagrids can be found on the 13 ride.

It's strange but I find FJ quite relaxing! It does really move you about, but quite gently imo. There's no quick 'whipping about' movement...

I'm not a fan of coasters although I force myself on them - but I absolutely love Forbidden Journey and try to ride it multiple times, IMO its the best ride there (including Disney)
