Some action shots ... we are definitely very glad we made use of the wasted garage space and love cinema nights at home.

The shutters are a nice touch, I like them. Great views.

looking good!

would be interested to see a closeup of the a/v cab

if i knew then what i know now, i would have gone for a static screen on the wall like that. instead i went for a motorised (tab tensioned) screen so i could mount a tv on the wall behind it.

a tv that *never* gets used!

i got a facebook memory earlier that it is 3 years ago today that the screen went up and projector got plumbed into the ceiling

did you go for the ceiling mounted atmos speakers? i wish i'd had them done at the time, but i was using an older 5.1 amp/speaker setup, and couldn't afford the upgrade at the time (it was either that, or getting the room decorated!)

WOW Claudette what a fantastic makeover! Love the office and the beautiful views - I'm currently stuck in the kitchen corner working (well obviously not working at this moment as I'm reading the Dibb). I would love a dedicated room. Really like your cinema room - what luxury. I'm not sure how much of the film I would watch on those seats as I reckon they are lovely to 'nap' on.

I would have to ask DH about cabling. We don't have any ceiling speakers though, some at front some at back and then the big woofer one. Our projector is sitting on the high cabinet at the back of the room.

Oh yes I have nodded off a few times in there! I think once I was abandoned in there until the early hours as DH couldn't wake me up. He left me a torch to get back to the house, but now we have put some of those garden lights down the path.

Would love to see it, we did think about whether we should make it more cinema-like inside, patterned carpet and so on!

I love what you've done with your garage. Both rooms are just lovely! Thanks for sharing the pics.
