The Masked Singer

I was another one who thought it was silly to start off with but it grew on me and I was actually enjoying guessing towards the end.

I guessed Nicola Roberts, Denise Van Outen quite early. Jason Manford and Katherine Jenkins were names we’d shortlisted but we still thought they were Charlotte Church and Michael Ball.

There were some quite big names on it in the end. Call my cynical but the big names stayed all/most of the way through, the others went early.

I was convinced it was Jesy Nelson from Little Mix due to the clues she gave about ‘these wings were meant to fly’ and at woman like me...’

We also loved Masked singer and hope it returns. The first week thought it was the most ridiculous programme I had ever seen but it just grew on daughter and I ! Guessed Katherine Jenkins straight away because I do love her voice and listen to her quite often, her Welsh accent was so clear too. Jason Manford voice was fabulous. Other than it was someone from a girl band didn’t guess Queen Bee. I think it was a surprise hit and will attract more big names next series.

New series of this! We didn’t watch it last time but I’m a bit mesmerised by it in a car crash TV kind of way🤣

Well, my DH who was "absolutely not watching this sh**" , chirped in with the name of the one who was kicked off a minute before they were revealed. Frustrating.

Won't let him "not watch" again.

I only watched this for the first time tonight, blaming DD as she is home and suggested it.
Is the swan Darcy Bussell? We though Stacy Solomon for the sausage and chips but the seaside connection doesnt fit.

I thought Darcy Bussell for the swan, there was also a connection to do with Royalty and I wondered if that was because she was a dancer in the Royal Ballet. Maybe that too obvious.
