We prefer Disney. We spend the majority of our time at Disney and a day or two is spent at US and IOA. We just enjoy Disney more for the rides and theming. That said though, Harry Potter is amazing! Last year we did IOA and US in one day. It helped that there were no waits for the majority of the rides.

I voted Universal - we've got 5 teenage kids and there's just more for them to do at US & IOA - especially with all the upcoming new attractions and expansions. We can't wait to go next October! We'll be spending at least 3 full days at US/IOA but only doing 1 day at Disney - we've picked Hollywood Studios, it seems the best park for teenage kids and based on last time I went in 2009 it's my favourite Disney park too.
But for me Universal is way better than Disney - sorry!

We have done both but not Universal the last couple of visits, as we prefer Disney (we are a couple no children with us) but I can see older children preferring Universal
