Water Shoes in the Water Parks

I burned the soles of my feet going from slide to slide on my first trip to Orlando, we are returning this year, I wanted to ask are you allowed to wear water shoes on the rides?

Hi, we went to Volcano Bay in October. Most slides you can wear your shoes. Otherwise they have places for you to leave them at the entrance to the slide whilst you go on.

Hope this helps,
Dave

Cheers Dave, I might get them for the family. We ended up getting in the lazy river to take us where we needed to go every time hehe.

Lidl have some dirt cheap ones online at the moment. I can't vouch for the quality of them but I will be grabbing a couple of pairs for the kids as it would be rude not too. They are essential in the parks in my view.

I'm sure my daughter kept hers on for all the slides when we went to the Disney water parks. We are all planning on taking some this time as burning feet is no fun, although it does make a fun game out of "shade hopping"!

We all wore them on all the slides at TL and BB - they are a must in my opinion.

You can't wear them on the bigger rides. I 100% had to take them off and hold them on Summit Plummit. The smaller slides are fine.

I asked Volcano Bay and Aquatica this recently.
Both say you can wear them in pools, lazy rivers and on the slides where you have a tube, but you have to remove them for 'body slides'
