RPR V HRH Club level
Hi
We have booked HRH club level and we are getting a bit concerned over the offerings that are available, we stayed Club level at RPR in 2017 and it was fantastic, we thought we would give HRH a go this year and thought that club level would more or less be the same at the 3 hotels, on reading various reports on here it seems not with HRH being the worst out the 3 Can anyone tell me if they rotate the 5-7 menu or is it the same every night? Also can anyone tell me what is available to eat Many thanks Mike Edited at 06:55 PM. |

I haven’t done RP but booked in for a few weeks time but we found the club level good at HRH. There was a good choice of an evening with a change every night. The room is quite small but we would either sit by the lift area or take stuff back to the room.
We’re gutted to not be doing HRH this year as we love the pool area but the cost of Club at RP wasn’t much more than a normal room at hard rock. I don’t know when you go but I can compare in a few weeks if you haven’t been.

5-7 was drinks from the bar and small plates like wings or spring rolls , crudités and crackers and cheeses
It did rotate as in the hot bit was different every night. I didn’t like it as in it was a bit of a bum fight with the usual people who want to take everything but you get that everywhere, we were there last August for a week and the room was very small but they were about to knock through to make it bigger. My kids loved it we had 5 teens with and it was great to take cold drinks and waters from so saved us a fortune with that but it didn’t feel very special paper plates and plastic cutlery and chaos, but we didn’t buy breakfast all week so it was worth it.

I was there last August & the 5-7 food & the desserts were on a 5 day rotation. The 5-7 food is like appetisers - I remember they had chicken satays on sticks one day & chicken wings another.
Piling plates high even though there was a massive queue seemed to be the norm. The breakfast is better unless there’s a queue for the toaster or the hot water. They were about to take out a wall within the lounge to create more space but I’m not convinced how much difference it will make. HRH is my favourite hotel due to the vibe & we have always stayed club level but I don’t find it as good as it used to be. |

Thank you very much for the replies
I think we are going to try and transfer over to RPR, the reason for booking club is the saving on the evening meal (2 teenagers in tow) and RPR had a very substantial evening meal and it was a lovely lounge, its abit of a shame that HRH is like this Mike Edited at 03:32 PM. |

As I understand Portofino Bay is the best Club lounge, it is a shame because the kids love the hotel and the pool
