University visits - class of 2020

Good luck with the results day. We have a bit longer wait - my daughter hasn’t really mentioned it yet. She has a timed slot to go collect them.

DD studied her A levels at Hartpury which is an agricultural college and university and they aren’t opening for results day but emailing everyone at 8am. She needs AAB for her first choice of uni. We were watching a vlog on You Tube about a girl who had applied for the same course at the same place (Surrey) and she was just logging in before 8 and a text came in from the uni offering her a place.

DDs school hasn’t yet let us know about A levels but know she has a timed slot to arrive at halls in Liverpool on 18th September and can only be accompanied by one parent. Getting a bit real now...

My sons results will be emailed to him around 08:15 on 13th.

It’s feeling a bit real now! We are England so bit longer to wait. DD college said results will be live on college website at 8am same time as they go live on track on UCAS - although I assume track will be a nightmare to get onto! Thinking of you all x

My older two both got notifications they were in before they received their results. D H and I tearing our hair out when they both slept til 11 and couldn’t be bothered to go get their results.

Eldest dd now decided wants to go to uni in sept so playing the clearing game already as she got her a levels a couple of years ago. This time she wants to stay home and go local.

Yes, my middle son was the same, got notification from his Uni before he got his actual exam results. Took a little bit of the shine off it, we thought at the time, after the excitement of knowing he had got in

Our DDs results will be emailed at 8am on results day. No one allowed into School.

My daughter has a time slot to pick up her results and pretty late in the morning as she’s is a higher number tutor group. We are not allowed to go with her either. I expect her to be physically sick so at least I won’t be the one clearing it up 🤣

My sons appointment to collect his results is 10.15. He says he's turning his phone off so he can get his results before hearing from UCAS!
