DD has received emails from Newcastle University about her accommodation.
The first email (7 days ago) was asking if she required her accommodation from term 1 or term 2 ?
The second today was a welcome accommodation email !

Has anyone else had anything similar from Newcastle?

It’s her only choice as opted for no safety.

Fingers crossed it’s a good sign. Although DD had to apply for accommodation at Liverpool even before her interview. She didn’t get offered a place but they still kept sending her emails after that 😩

Good luck everyone. We had a terrible nights sleep- the weather hasn’t exactly helped.

Fingers crossed for an AAB for my DD to get into Surrey. Her insurance is a strange contextual offer at Bristol as their normal requirement is AAA but she can get either AAC or A*BC.

All awake here, DD fussing about getting ready to go to school for results (9am here) - which requires full make up and "the right" clothes - despite not being able to meet up with friends etc.

She'll do the UCAS thing first - if she ever gets ready...

UCAS website has crashed

Results- AAA Maths, Further Maths and Physics and still got her excellence scholarship at Lancaster for Physics.

Disappointed she didn’t get her A*s but her School historically has never had A* in Physics or Maths so I guess was never going to get them in the statistical model

Not the results we hoped for as DD got AAC with the C in chemistry and she needed an A in Chemistry so she hadn’t got into her firm choice of Surrey but did get into Bristol. Just on the phone to her tutor to see what her mock was as she wants to appeal.
