What was your “never again” drink experience?

Over to you ...
Sherry.

At Uni around 19 years old. Had been drinking several pints of bitter. Then a group of us were invited round to a lecturers' flat for more (free!) drinks. After a while we started on the sherry but had run out of sherry glasses (or something similar). Therefore I had mine in a mug - about a third of a mug full.

I ended up being sick in the lecturers flat and then left before he noticed (or maybe he did notice? - I was too drunk to know).

I never drank sherry again. Can't stand the smell of it.

Bacardi for me, I lost over 24 of my life to it!

In Gran Canaria 20 odd years ago, got bored with beer and me and a mate decided on Bacardi.

We don’t remember going to bed but others said it was around 4am, woke up about 10pm and couldn’t move out of bed until the next morning 😂

Love Southern Comfort, it always gives me a warning when I’ve had too much. Unlike rosè wine if I go over a bottle in one sitting I’ve had it the next day.

Still drink it though...,🤦🏻

Cointreau, many years ago Dh and I decided to have a romantic meal one night and ended it with Cointreau which I hadn’t really drank before so decided to have another one and then quite a few more. Let’s just say the end of the night was far from romantic Haven’t touched it since

When I was in the Army in Germany alcohol was extremely cheap on camp. Used to drink a pint of vodka, bicardi, blackcurrant juice and lemonade with a straw and boy did that get you drunk🥴🥴🥴. We used to add advocat and call it a Pink Panther. When I came back to the UK on leave I ordered the same thing in a local pub forgetting how expensive it would be😳😂.
